Thankfulness is a lifestyle…
All my stylish in town, hi!
Yes, Thanksgiving is gone but I believe thankfulness is a lifestyle.
Thanksgiving is one of my favorite Holidays in my past 10 years of living in the US. I’ve loved hosting it. After Sophie and Christian, I had to say goodbye to stylish hosting and narrow it down to a few that are truly near and dear to my heart. But then I go all in!
Like any other big event, an elaborate dinner is teamwork. Shout out to my two sisters, my mom, and everyone else who chipped in.
Here is what I am thankful for:
Moving back to OH - family, friends, and social activities
Home - windows, fireplace, and trees
Weekend pancakes - once a week treat by my awesome hubs
Taco Tuesdays - easy food prep for yours truly!
Good music - can’t work/live without it
A good design - a treat for the eyes and mind
My parents and Brad’s parents
A decluttered and curated closet - don’t always have time to stay on top of it though
Old movies - inspiration
Podcasts - free education
Solo drives - blast whatever music my heart desires!
French Gimlet - a drink you should try!
And the list goes on! What are the top three that come to your mind? Tell me in the comments!
December has been a social month and I am grateful for the opportunities my community offers to mompreneurs like me! I’ve done 5 trunk shows so far! This picture sums up my life this past week doing multiple trunk shows. Carrying bins with products, arranging tables, packing up, running out, grabbing dinner on the way back home and more.
It’s been exhausting and stressful but so wonderfully rewarding too. It’s not the “sales” that makes it all worth it, it’s :
The number of smiles I received
The high fives and “you go girls”
Meeting stylish, classy, and welcoming women in a town I still consider myself new in
The “so beautiful” - “ everything is so pretty and unique” comments I heared
The refreshing talks between me and wonderful people from the area I knew before and I happened to see at the shows
The feeling of “this is what it means to be home”
Continuing with the spirit of Thanksgiving, I want to thank you for being here, supporting brands like mine and preferring unique and small versus generic.
Thank you for making a difference in a cluttered world through what you pick.
My Instagram handle crisp.olive has great visuals into my journey. And if you’re curious to see what products I design check my boutique out, you won’t be disappointed ;). Especially if you are a busy stylish one with unique taste.
And as always I would love to know your thoughts, leave a comment and let’s talk!
Till next time, may style come to you and yours conveniently!
